Welcome.  Picture That Dictionary (PTD) is provided to you free of charge but before you can use it you must agree to its Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. By visiting and or using this website you signify your agreement to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy below and also to updates and revisions of the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy that may be undertaken in the future. If you cannot accept these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy please do not use the PTD website.  Nothing in this agreement shall be deemed to confer rights or benefits on third parties.

1. PTD Website Links
These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all users of the PTD website. The PTD website may contain links to other websites owned or controlled by other parties. PTD takes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any such websites.  

2. PTD Accounts
In order to access the learning in the PTD you MUST REGISTER AND ESTABLISH YOUR own ACCOUNT and provide accurate and complete information as requested in the registration procedure.  You may never use another's account without permission.  Your account is your responsibility and you must keep your password secure.  You must notify PTD immediately of any breach of security or unauthorised use of your account.  PTD does not accept liability for losses caused by any unauthorised use of your account.  You may be liable to PTD for any loss caused to PTD by any unauthorised use of your account. PTD may terminate without notice any account if PTD believes the account holder is acting in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

3. PDT Website Use
PTD grants you permission to access and use the PTD website on condition that:

1. You do not distribute any part of the Website in any way whatsoever;
2. You do not alter or modify any part of the Website;
3. You do not use the Website for any commercial use with the prior written permission of PTD;
4. You will comply with all the Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations;

You acknowledge and agree that the content on the PTD Website, including without limitation, the text, software, scripts, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, interactive features and the like, and the trademarks, service marks and logos contained in the Website, are owned or licensed by PTD;

4. Reverse Engineering of all PTD software forbidden
You agree that you may not modify, alter, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or emulate the functionality, reverse compile or otherwise reduce to human readable form, create derivative works of the software without the prior written consent PTD, or its licensors, as applicable.

5. Warranty Disclaimer
You agree to use the PTD Website at your own risk.  PTD disclaims all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Website and your use of it.  PTD makes no warranties or representations about the accuracy and completeness of the Website or the content of any other sites linked to its Website.

You agree that PTD bears no liability for any and all of the following:

1. any mistakes or inaccuracies of content;

7. PTD is based in the United Kingdom
The Website is controlled and offered by PTD from its facilities in the United Kingdom and Europe. PTD makes no representations that the PTD Website is appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who access or use the PTD Website from other jurisdictions do so at their own volition and are responsible for compliance with local law.

8. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PTD, its officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to legal fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the PTD Website; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms and Conditions; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (iv) any claim that one of your User Submissions caused damage to a third party. This defence and indemnification obligation will survive these Terms of Service and your use of the PTD Website.

10. Ability to Accept Terms and Conditions
You affirm that you are either more than 18 years of age, or an emancipated minor, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Terms and Conditions.

11. Assignment
These Terms of Service, and any rights and licenses granted hereunder, may not be transferred or assigned by you, but may be assigned by PTD without restriction.

(a) These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between PTD and you concerning the subject matter hereof, and it may only be modified by a written amendment signed by an authorized executive of PTD. (b) Except to the extent applicable law, if any, provides otherwise, this Agreement will be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. (c) This agreement will not be governed by the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. (d) If any part of this agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, that part will be construed to reflect the parties' original intent, and the remaining portions will remain in full force and effect. (e) A waiver by either party of any term or condition of this Agreement or any breach thereof, in any one instance, will not waive such term or condition or any subsequent breach thereof. (f) Except as required by law, the controlling language of this Agreement is English. (g) You may assign your rights under this agreement to any party that consents to, and agrees to be bound by, its terms; PTD may assign its rights under this agreement without condition. (h) This agreement will be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors and permitted assigns. (i) PTD reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice, and it is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions for any changes. Your use of the PTD Website following any amendment of these Terms and Conditions will signify your assent to and acceptance of its revised terms. you agree that any cause of action ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PTD WEBSITE MUST COMMENCE WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES, OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.

13. Privacy Policy
All personal information that you submit to PTD  will be treated with care and respect.  Within PTD your details will be held securely and accessed only to the extent necessary, and by those members of PTD having a direct responsibility in that area, to provide you the fullest PTD service.  PTD, however, gives notice that it may publish or otherwise share aggregated information derived from your details and the details of others.  In such cases information will be collected and shared in a manner which prevents the identification of individuals.

PTD will never share your details with other organisations or individuals outside PTD except where such information is demanded by government officials on official business subject to:
